Well I'm sure you could type in some sight or look at the lunar tables in Field and Stream. But I have a wizz-bang Timex Pathfinder Hunters watch that tells me all this..Plus it vibrates when coming into a movement time. I see deer more often than not when it vibrates!

PS..it's set by latitude and longitude so no..Minnesota would differ slightly..

dont have it as bad, still not good.

I will hunt the morning, but i have a meeting at 1pm, what are the odds? Hopefully it will be quick and i can get back out in the woods by 230 or 3pm. When the director of a 3 letter agency says meeting even on opening day you got to show up, there are couple guys i know that are pissed.

She's full and out in MI. I am hunting all day, gun seasons starts on Saturday.

I did see a dink chasing a doe today[&:]
Back to the original thread topic, Keep in mind Germ that it is supposed to take 2-4 days after the full moon (yesterday) before the does fully come into estrous.
In any case, I was out last night with my daughter here in Iowa and we had a doe decoy set up. We had twoseparate bucks come out from the timber 5 minute from each other about a half hour before dark andbothspot the decoy from 50 yards away and make a beeline to her backend. In between the two bucks engaging the decoy,a huge buck came across the hayfield nose to the ground in abirddog stance and headed down the fencline away from us. I grunted and wheezed, but he was definately preoccupied with a track of a doe.
As skeptical as I've been of the moon phase theory in the past, it sure seems to be about dead-on this year.
