Mathews LX
Mathews Legacy
Hoyt CyberTec
BowTec Patriot
Please give me your input on which bow you guys have tested performed the best. I am going to the shop next week to demo the LX and CyberTec.

Welcome to the sport.
I think you have picked 1 of the best bows on the market to choose from.I would suggest the Bowtech Patriot, but I' m a little biased here, thats the bow I' m shooting. If you want a smooth shooting bow and a very fast one as well, you will not be disapointed in ANY Bowtech bow.I' m currently shooting a 2002 Patriot at 60 pounds draw weight, and 29" draw length, and a 308 grain arrow right at 297-299 FPS with a peep sight, tide on nockset, kisser button on the string.Good luck, and shoot as many bows as you can before you make the final purchase. What I like,or someone else, might not be what your looking for.

My personal opinion is that Mathews and Bowtech top the list of all bow manufacturers for hunting. I have not shot the LX yet, but have shot the original patriot and was very impressed with it. I currently shoot a Mathews Q2XL and love that bow, and soon will be picking up a second bow due to all my travels. It will either be another Mathews or a Bowtech.

I appriciate the help, I just recently sold my Jennings Buckmaster 2000 , for the price i did like the bow. The vibration and overall performance was not what i am looking for tho, this is why i am looking into a new bow. Also how do you get the neat pictures by you name on the left side? Heh, stupid ? i was j/w.

With a short draw and low poundage I would look at the Patriot since it is the fastest of the bunch and will help to increase your KE. Also you mentioned vibration and there is none with the Patriot (not that the others have vibration, but they can' t match the Pat' s speed). Whatever you pick just make sure it feels right for you and you' ll be good to go.
