Best day in the woods and I didnt even kill anything

This morning was absolutely crazy. I have never seen so much wildlife while in the stand in my whole life. In total, I saw 8 different bucks, one being a big mature ten on the heels of a doe. 4 does, 1 button buck and 2 doe fawns. Then at about 10 am a flock of turkeys came in and 2 toms decided they would try to kill each other at about 40 yards out. Feathers flying everywhere. It was chaotic.
I usually get out the stand at 10:30 am, but around that time some sleet and snow/rain mix started coming down, so I decided to stay put. At 11, the fork horn that Ive already passed this year came through again and stood at 15 yards for what seemed like forever. He suddenly bolted into a thicket, and in the distance I see what I thought was one of the farmers dogs, but it wasa big fat red and gray coyote. What a morning. From now on, I am going to re-think leaving the woods before noon when we have cold weather this early in November.
Just wanted to share with you guys. Its not everyday I have a hunt like this, so I'm still excited.

I was hunting up in NE Indiana close the Ohio line last week and we had 20 mile and hour winds and sleet snow mix all day Saturday and Sunday and we set our stands all day (I was just doe hunting[:'(]) that's some rough hunting conditions for a southern boy

Yep, thats what it is all about. If a guy can't enjoy all the creatures and the beauty of the outdorrs without killing anything, he is probably not going to be a long term hunter....at least not a bowhunter.
