I saw a lot of chasing two weeks ago, in my area of NY it seems like the rut usually hits just before the beginning of rifle season so I think its right on time. I hunt 4f in Otsego County for what its worth.

Saw a couple tons of deer this morning! Lots of chasing and even had two small bucks fighting under my stand. Im in 3r.
Killed a nice 6 pt that was following a doe around 10 am.
An even bigger buck chased a doe right by me an hour later, while I was dressing my buck, like I wasnt even there! (guess he knew I tagged out
)
Will post pics tomorrow when Im at my own PC at work. Dont have the right cable for my camera at home.
