This stand site was placed there because the previous 2 years on opening weekend of gun season,I saw2 differentnice bucks up the hill behind me that I couldn't get a shot on.I played the odds and figured 3rd year would be the charm and I moved that stand up the hill and only hunted it twice all year just to kind of get a feel for it.

Other han those 2 sightings,I would not have placed the stand there.There are better areas in this woods for a stand but when the rut starts tohit,they travel right through this spot.:)
