    Came so close last night. Around 5 I had 4 does coming right at me. Following them was a 3x3 with the tallest tines I have ever seen. Never have shot a buck, my sights were on this guy. He started sniffing 1 of the does and she took off and jumped the fence 30 yards behind me. So I re-adjusted and waited. Then the 3x3 took off and out of nowhere there he was. The 1 I've been dreaming about since I got the trail pic. He got right on the hot doe and started following her away. I tried a little snort wheeze and he stopped and turned. I thought I had him. But he put his nose back down and just kept with her.Hopefully I can get back out there before rifle starts this Fri. Heres the guy I'm talking about.

    Looks to be a 10 point...not sure where the 3x3 comes from. Good luck though, he's a great one.

    This one showed up out of nowhere and ran off the 3x3 that was there 1st.

    Anyone think that the snort wheeze call was the 1 to use, or should I have just grunted?
