RE: Lock on vs hang on. Whats more sturdy?
 

The summit copperhead is easy to hang and rock solid. The Gorillas are comfy, and decently easy to hang. The Lone Wolfs hang on's are also very easy to hang and solid on the tree. I've tried all kinds, and the Summit Copperhead is my favorite. Big platfrom, big seat, and cake to put on a tree. The Lone Wolf is a close 2nd, but I'm not a fan of their seats.I go to the Summit for all day sits in November.


I always go one step further with my hang ons and attach a second ratchet strap at the base of the stand to make it absolutly rock solid. I don't make it really tight, just tight enough to keep the bottom from kicking on me.
