I like him ok, he's not my choice but he won. I do not like the whole spread the wealth thing. It's a socialist idea. If you don't believe me, do a search on Wikipedia and type in socialism, it is word for word about sharing the wealth.. He seems to be a bit arrogant and out of touch with middle America, but he is OUR pres and we will have him for 4 yrs at the least, give it a chance.

Very few of the true problems in America right now are a direct result of Bush policy, especially the big one, the economy, sorry bud - a bit off
To be honest, I wasn't really a fan of either of the two main candidates. Socialism is bad and so is this wishy washy conservatism that McCain does as well. Do I respect what Obama has done, sure, he did something else no one of his origins has. Do I think he will "succeed", I doubt it. Just my .02.

I voted McCain, but for one simple reason: I didn't like either candidate, but with McCain we would get two new candidates in 4 years, with Obama, I havea feeling he's in for 8:
- economy is a cycle and it will be drastically improved 4 years from now
guns are not an issue, they didn't come up at all in the campaign, both sides know its a lightning rod to not touch, to emotional. Plus the SC ruled on it which effectively ends it for the near future.
There are to many real problems for the president to address, doesn't need to go after some of the non-problems.
