Being from Illinois I find it utterly disgusting that Obama even made it this far!

McCain. Though I'm not wild about him, he still stands for democracy versus socialism. There are those that will scoff at that comment or call it extremist, but redistributing wealth is a uniquely un-American concept. And greedy. Greed is seeking to take from others so you can have more. Working hard to earn what you have is not. Though Obama would have you believe otherwise, that you were lucky, had better breaks than others and that you should pony up so everyone's income can be more equal. This goes against the very fabric of the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness.

There are those, of course, that will say this is just talk, that its exagerating. But there are many tangible examples, such as Obama's thoughts on alternative energy. He has gone on record as saying we need to embrace alternative energies such as wind, solar, etc., and that its going to be expensive. He says the energy companies will have to pass that cost on the consumer and those of us who make a little more - meaning those with any income at all - are going to have to absorb those costs since the poor cannot. The thing that's scary about that is that it will be forced upon us. We will have no say in it. It will in essence be legalized robbery.

I hope for the sake of the country tomorrow, McCain can pull it off. I also hope our sitting senator Norm Coleman can upset Al Franken, a lunatic who just may win tomorrow because people vote based on political party and not brains.

You know, they said the samething about Clinton also

I am going to close my eyes and pull the lever, either way we're screwed IMO[8D]
And he signed in Nafta which is the single biggest reason your state and this country is shipping jobs hand over fist overseas.

Nafta really isn't a bad idea, just when it was as poorly thought out as it was then,it is a BAD idea.Just wish that Bush would have fixed it.
The one thing that people forget about Nafta is the jobs that came to our country. I have several relatives who lost their jobs at Ford but got better paying ones at Toyota.

So Osama......er Yo-mama.....er Obama wants to bankrupt the coal industry huh. Hold on to you wallets folks. Especially those who live out west. Our electric bills are going to skyrocket. If this stooge starts messing with the coal industry it's going to put tremendous pressure on the electric grid and ALL of our utility bill are going through the roof.

I've never seen such an amateur.

I'll be pulling the lever against Obama. McCain gets my vote by default.

I quess that explains why we are losing our industrial base in this country.

I have watched 100's of people locally lose their CAREERS,not just jobs,Educated people losing a career to basically slave labor overseas.I am talking engineers, machinist, tool makers and the dozens of other supporting industry that go along with it because of 1 thing,NAFTA.I personally was layed off from it but I am fortunate that I was able to find another job within the trade but not sure how long that will last before I will have to change.

I hope Obama doesn't get in and institute his socialist plan but whoever wins must fix NAFTA.IMHO.

McCain.

I think you're an absolute freakin idiot if you vote for Obama. He has WAY too many ties with terrorists, he won't come clean about his place of birth, where his campaign-funds come from, what bills he's signed or even his true religion. He's written himself that he'll stick with the Muslems when the **** hits the fan. And the BIGGEST reason I think you're an idiot for voting for him is because he won't even salute the American flag! How the hell can you vote someone for president who don't even salute our flag? If he won't, and he won't recite the pledge of allegiance, then why the hell does he want to run this country? And his wife is blatantly hateful of white people (written herself in college). What kind of change do you think you're going to see if he's elected? Socialism, that's what kind. It didn't work for the USSR and it won't work for us. In fact, I'll bet it'll bring this country down faster than it did Russia.

Even if there weren't any of the issues mentioned above, just the fact that he has NO experience running ANYTHING is reason enough to vote for McCain. And not that McCain is a great choice either. Hell, we haven't had 2 decent candidates to choose from in a presidential election in decades. But at least McCain has experience, and is a true American. Obama is aliar and his wife is a racist-biatch!
