Default OK guy's what does this mean?

Ok guy's as most of you know I have not shot many deer......like only one and it was this year.........Ok so iit took 25 years of hunting.

Ok tonight I arrowed a nice doe around 5:30. I wait in my stand untill dark and get down and find where I shot her and start walking to my truck and where she she stood on the trail there is bright red blood and it really frothey. Like alot of bubbles in it. Ok what does this mean? I am going to wait for atleast four hours until I go looking for her. Does this sound right?

Thanks alot guy's this site has helped me out a ton this year.

Where did the arrow enter? If you shot it broadside it sounds like a double lung and that deer will be dead within 100 yards if not less...go get your deer.

It sounds like you don't need to wait 4 hours! I'd go get the deer.

It sounds like a lung hit. If I am right it means you hit right where you should.

Every deer I've shot that had bright red blood with bubbles/froth was shot in the lungs and found relatively close by. I agree that it should be an easy track.

I hit him a little high. Maybe 3 to 4 inches below the spine. But there is a ton of blood.
