Look at the head and neck on this thing!! The deer Is at a scrape.

If you look closely there are buttons on his head and I agree with Rob in the last pic there is something extra there.

Hard to tell but, I agree it, does look like there are button in that picture. Still blurry maybe someone can blow up and clean up some of those pics.

Yeah but there's more. A bucks chest is wider than it's hips and a does hips are wider than their chests. Child bearing vs fighting.

Also, the heads are different as well as mannerisms.

Body is just too big to be a button buck, and the indentations on the head look to be somewhat big around. I would agree that it is a buck that broke off it's antlers. He's no 4.5 year old, but it's older than a button buck.

I would have to agree, it looks like a buck. It looks to have so jewels hanging and buttons or something on its head. It looks like he is freshing up a scrape to me.

He's got a rutted up neck, ears pinned back like he was going to kick someone's ass!! And man was he on the move with his nose to the ground! He's a solid 2.5 year old deer no doubt.

That's a buck if I ever seen one. Look at his "rutting" head. The top of his head is all scruffy and check out
his left tarsal gland. It's black as coal and texas tea.

I also say it's a 1.5-2.5 year old buck with antlers broken off just by looking at the neck. He's full of testosterone.
