He's definetly a very nice buck, I'd love to get a crack at him. I don't think he scores over 170 though. I do hope you get him. He's a big buck.

He's not a booner, but he's a nice buck. He's no 160 typical or 180 non-typical. I think those are the measurements.
Typical- 170"
Non Typical- 195"
Schultzy.......you may be joking but how is the deer 25 inches non typical? If you are off that bad I hope you dont work for one of those polling places!

Mahoning...Shultzy was posting B&C scoring qualifications. The statement was made that this was a "Booner".

This is an awesome deer and if he's not a shooter to anyone, I wanna know where your hunting. However it does fall well short of B&C.

Thank you Bob. Mahoning, the poster that I quoted didn't have minimum qualification's right, all I did was correct them and put the right ones up. To me this buck Is under 170" IMO, he's In that 160" range or so. Great buck that's for sure. The whole state of Minnesota would hear me yelling and screaming If I was lucky enough to shoot a buck like this.

That is a brute, the numbers I come up with put him really close to gross B&C

Inside Spread- 17"

Main Beams- 24"+24"

G-1's- 5"+4"
G-2's- 12"+11"
G-3's- 13"+12"
G-4's- 7"+7"

H-1's- 4-4/8"+4-4/8+
H-2's- 4"+4"
H-3's- 4"+4"
H-4's- 3-4/8"+3-4/8"

Puts my guess typical gross score right at...... 168"

Very impressive considering the buck isn't very wide... great buck John, now just let the air outta that brute!

Those aren't the correct measurements. Your definetly off on the G4s. They aren't 7 inches. The G2s and G3s are more likely 10 and 11 inches. I say he nets in the 150s.

I would say he's gonna gross close to the 170 mark, but it's tough to tell without actually putting a tape to him. He's got nice tall tines, and good main beams, the only thing I can see that he is missing is a little small on mass. Mine grossed 167 1/8 and I 'd say they look a lot alike.

good luck with him, and can't wait to see you with your mitts around his antlers.
