Well the rut is on at one of the properties I hunt anyway lol. Saw 15 bucks,several P&Y bucks Im guesing, 1 was a 145 class I think. I got lots of cool video footage of hardcore chasing. I had 8 bucks chasing a Doe, tongues out, crashing though anything in their way. They covered 200 yards in seconds. I had the biggest buck 10 yards but couldnt get a shot as he was at full throttle. I did get some footage of some of the action but its real hard to hold your bow, keep the camera on the deer, continue to focus in manual and move the camera while all the chasing is going on. Even if I didnt have a camera there was no way I could have made a shot at the bigger bucks so no harm done videoing. Was an awesome morning. I did get good footage of the trailer bucks as they were way behind and not sprinting the whole time. I'll try and post some video later but Im heading out to another property right now. Tomorrow I'll be back at the same location I was in the morning hunting all day. Get out there guys, Halloween day has once again been a good one for me even though not tag filled but it has been the best day of the season bar none and its only half over : )

<EDIT> trying to DL some footage to Youtube but takes forever. Here is one, and Im outta time messing with the downloading for now so I can go get in a stand I have 30 minutes to sort thru and see whats viewable, here is one of the trailer bucks following the pack, the video of the bigger one that were sprintng you cant really make out anything. Man the quality of the footage sure gets bad looking at in YT, crystal clear on a DVD or TV.

I am headed out in a few minutes....though I don't think its on here yet. Haven't seen any official chasing yet, and had 5 does in my yard all morning. Nobody came a lookin....[&:]

Saw a small 3 point chasing a doe this morning (0930). About two hours later a 6 point came in running through the same area.(1120)

Sounds great Andy...looking forward to the pictures of your success. By the looks of this picture, I'd have to agree that it's on for us and i'll be out all day tomorrow.
