Congrats on the buck. I've seen those little base stickers once before on the buck my buddy Steve killed this year. Matching set, just like yours.

ORIGINAL: fastetti If I didn't get this property to hunt in S. Illinois I'd be up in WI hunting Devils Lake State park. Do you mind me asking what general area of the state you were in? |
RE: I killed the Devil Deer's prodigal son
Congrats.....one of my favorite things about hunting is going with friends and family.

RE: I killed the Devil Deer's prodigal son
Oh... I learned something on this hunt that my legs paid for for 2 days after the night I shot the buck:
Never ever try to drag a deer through the swamp a mile away from the truck at night and rely on a mid-grade GPS to get you out in a straight line. A gps works good if you are constantly moving. If you are dragging 20 30 yds stopping dragging again, it'll make yougo in zig zags all over the place. I say a mile but it was probably actually about 7/8 of a mile. However, with the zig zagging, fallen downs, tall grass, thickets, and swimming pools, it was well over a mile if you add it all up. Well, the taxi said 4-6 months and he will be hanging next to the other bucks on the wall. |

Congrat's Hue. What spot were you at? He's a cool looking deer.
