This is just my opinion and experience with bow hunting, but, if he was hit in the lungs I don't see how he would have gone very far. I made a bad shot on my 7 point Friday, and found him about 70 yards from where I shot him. After further thinking and inspection,I hit him in the liver and left rear knee cap and he bleed out in 70 yards, and I didn't use a Rage. Last years deer, I hit in the lungs and he only went about 70 yards or so also. But I did get a pass through on both deer. I don't understand how you didn't get a pass through. Is your bow light in the pounds you are pulling? I'm not trying to criticize, just throwing out some thoughts is all. GL finding him.

If he made it to the briar thickets- I'll never find him in there. I'll have to wait and look for the buzzards.
