I have a friend who lives in Bridgeville, he hunts up near Franklin as he has a camp up there, but that is about 1 hour away (or slightly more). Not sure, but I thought he had mentioned Waynesburg ?? How far is that from you ? No public land, but some door to door might get you somewhere. If not offer up (if willing) to lease some ground for yourself. If you strick out there check to see if your county has a GIS Map, this will give you some names of landowners, some of which may be timber companies...gives you a start on who to contact.

Thanks for all your responses. bmb, that is actually toward where i live. There seems to be a little bit of woods out that way. Nevillewood seems to have some however not sure how to get in there. I guess the thing to do is just get out and drive around and see what i see. I am goign to take a drive today and mark a few points on my GPS and then check them out via arial maps and try to figure out whos door to knock on. I know its getting late but i have nothing to lose at this point.
elkhuntinut - Franklin is pretty far away. Waynesburg looks pretty far south as well.
Thanks guys.
