What part of the Hill country are you hunting?
The southern part of Coleman county

I am hunting between Hunt and Mountain Home....It's a 5 hour drive for me too!!!!!
I know about where you are, I use to be camp counselor and guide hunts for the YO Ranch during there summer hunting camp programs for kids

So you are not far from Brown Wood. The deer in the oaks are much better than the ones on the River. Or from my experience.
