Default Drury Outdoors

What do you think of Drury Outdoors, do you like the team members? There are quite a few guys i wouldn't mind tagging along with while hunting. I would have to say out of all the hunting videos i watch, nothing is better than Drury Outdoors video production. They are very informative in what they are doing! I have a lot of respect for both Mark and Terry, they are both top notch guys that know what they are doing! I had a chance to meet both Mark and Terry last summer. Terry was very talkative while Mark was a little on the quit side!

I like the Drurys. Most everyone on their prostaff is pretty likeable, they promote ethical practices, and try to inform hunters on how to improve. I guess that's why their videos always get bought year after year.

I don't want to bad mouth the Drury boys; they do produce a quality video. However, I have seen the behind the scenes stuff that goes on with their operation and have very little respect for the manner in which they handle themselves. I have a good friend that worked for them and another good friend that owns land next their Northern Missouri farm. Stand up guys, they are not. Therefore, I have boycotted their videos and T.V. shows for about five years now and do not plan on ending that any time soon.

I like them and as far as the "behind the scenes stuff" you need to rember this is a bussiness for them.To my knowlage they have never been charged or convicted of trasspassing, hunting out ofseason or any other game violation. Something some of the other big boys of horn porn can not clame. They will pay top$$$$ for the property they lease and have burnt some bridgesin the mid west because of it. You got to pay to play tho.

It had to do with the way Drury pays for footage, or more specifically, if they pay for footage. Please know, that not every piece of footageyou see on their videos was done by a "Drury Person". My buddy was employeed by Drury, they used a ton of his footage, but refused to pay because their was no kill at the end. I can understand not paying him for footage they won't use. However, to use the footage and not pay, pretty shady. Also, you should talk to some of the land owners around them in Northern Missouri about tresspassing and other ethical subjects. I believe you will see them in a whole new light. I know this is a business for them, just another reason why I don't really care for them, or any other T.V hunting shows.

I don't have an opinion one way or the other, butI do have to comment on your post. I kinda laughed while reading it wondering what you would have said about them if you DID want to bad mouth them.
Again, not questioning what you said, just wondering why you started out with the first sentence after reading what followed.

Because he is bringing something to the table no one knows about, or could know if it was true or not without investigating it.

I watch their shows. But to me it is just another hunting show, like all the rest of them. But i dont like to watch theirs all that much compared to others. However thats personal preference anyways.

I like them. They grew up about an hour south of where I live.
