What is the powder in the windicator bottles? Would baking soda work to refill them?

Odorless talc is what is in them originally, and I have refilled them with baking soda. It works, but not as well as the talc. It doesn't "mist" as well......It's not quite a fine enough powder. I've thought about using cake flour, it is pretty fine stuff.

Any scent to cake flour?

Ya'll.....cake flour doesn't do anything......It's what you put IN that flour that counts.....[&:]

How about the chalk powder that goes in a carpenters chalk line. I'm going to try it.
