Just incase your not joking, in theory kinda works the same way as if you poke your finger into a bed mattress.
The outside diameter of the area you touch moves towards the center where you poked.
So if you had blades on the sides of your finger, you would cut further from the point of impact thus making a larger cut. This theory will be the same for all broad heads i think.

Just a theory of mine, wonder how many will agree to this in some way or another.

That doe shoulder is insane! These heads so some serious damage!

I would like to see what the broadhead looked like after the shot, the one I shot last week into a 125lbs doe and didn't pass thru was all tore up, tip was bent over and blades were bent pretty bad. Maybe because they were last years model I don't know. But I do know that after examining the deer I had only broke 2 ribs. Impressive entry hole but I'd thought that they would hold up a little better. I'm shooting a pse x-force at 72lbs with a 414 grain arrow, way more than enough to get a pass thru.

lou-lou, how far was the shot? what angle was the shot? where did you hit the deer??

The shot was at 12 yards broadside, litle bit of an angle but nothing to steep, I was only 15 feet up.

I hit the deer right behind the shoulder, thru the wheelhouse, no liver or guts, nothing but smashed lungs
