Mature Buck Down in NY...
 

I told myself I was going to hold off for a P&Y Buck this year..
I have been Bow Hunting for close to 25 years. I have taken many 1 ½ old Bucks, and several 2 ½ Bucks over the years. Last night this Big Body Mature 8 point gave me a perfect shot. I did all I could do to let him walk…. Just couldn’t do it…
Anyway he came from his bedding area around 5:45pm…gave me an 18yard shot…Double Lunger He went 50 yards an piled up… We grossed him @ 120 7/8..

Yup, I'd say he's MATURE alright!! Congrats on outwitting a woodswise old buck.

He definately has a P&Y body.

We Put him on the scale @ creekwood archery Hamlin NY.. He was NOT Dressed, The scale said 277lbs:eek:.. I find that a little hard to belive.. I'm guessin around 210 maybe 215 dressed.. One of the Biggest Body deer I have seen in along time...
