That is pretty amazing actually. I'd have to say thats a one in a million harvest right there, most deer don't live to 1/3 her age in the wild. Heck I bet most deer don't live to 2/3 her age in a pen!

wow about 4 or 5 yrs ago I shot a 6 1/2 yr old doe here in Pennsylvania and I thought that was amazing considering how many of the " if its brown its Down" Amish lived in the area. But WOW 17yrs!!!
