The answer is almost always no but it depends on where I am hunting. If it's an area that I can drag one out of real easy then I might, but most of the time I won't.

i have also passed many doe's waiting for crusin bucks, but if you have no meat, u have no meat. you gotta do what you gotta do whether it be shooting a doe, or shooting a buck, that choice is yours. but always remember right behind that doe could possibly be your dream buck. i would recommend a few grunts, some hot doe piss with a few black widow scent bottles, a set of rattlers, possibly a decoy if possible during all rut hunts, it makes for some extremely interesting mornings/nights.

Two ways I'd do it.....and both have the same caveat.
It's gonna have to be a pure-T slam dunk shot. 15yds or less. That's the caveat.
1. I'd shoot a doe if it was really early in an afternoon sit.
2. I'd shoot a doe if it was really late in a morning sit.
I'd also NOT shoot one in a few select spots. I won't shoot one in those spots, now. Beauty is.....Im not seeing any does in those spots.
