My season is going very well. Thanks for asking. Glad your's is going nicely also. I've seen 5 bucks so far. Thisis apic ofthe one I almost shot yesterday morning. He walkedby my trail cam as he left the area. I'm almost glad he did walk even though he is a decent buck for my area,because I think I'll see bigger as the rut progresses. This coming week right through the first week of Nov should be show time. Can't wait!:D

NC... Hey Jeff, I have actually had a pretty nice season so far. Only one doe harvested (The lack of a freezer is the reason as I have had many opportunities to take shots at deer but have not) but surprisingly I have seen 6 different bucks in the small 33 acre plot I am hunting (1 big one, a younger injured buck w/ crazy rack (got him on video), a young 8, and 3 small bucks-a spike, 3 point and 5 point.). I am strictly buck hunting from now until mid november. Give me a call, sometime. It's a shame we're so close and haven't met. As a matter of fact....I may ride over to Gander tomorrow, mod-day. If you're in town....maybe we could have lunch and talk hunting....maybe set up a hunt, soon. Glad NC is being good to you. |
