ahhh welcome to Pennsylvania......i could go on for DAYS....
had 2 REAL good lookin spots...silly me "its archery season i aughta be safe close to the road"
one morning a "turkey hunter" watched me climb my last few climbs....he was 100-125yds away on the gasline...i dont know what i was doing, it was morning i dont know why i was just climbing...anyways i took the orange off and wrapped it around the tree like always...he just watched...i setup anyway..he was far enoough i didnt care...then he tried setting the woods on fire with a box call...i bet he let out a LONG LOUD series every minute or 2 for about 15 minutes...terrrrrrible sounding...and its F A L L!!! didnt get no "gobbles" i suppose he was hoping for and left...
nother day, same area, different stand, im sitting there and here comes a squirrel hunter down the trail....errrr..."well if they walk down over the hill, theres a good chance anything they do spook will come my way and hopefully feed on all these oaks" needless to say, i had him within bow range...for a half hour...i finally had enough and letout a loud "cough" he looked up (NO idea how he didnt see me earlier..i was decked out in orange!! wide open oak flat!) bout 15 minutes later he gets up...looks around (at me) and walks back to the car......
i can go on for daysssssss and days.....no more hunting close to the roads and parking lots...my current spot on that game lands is a HIKE....only 1/4-1/3 mile from the road id say...but im 1/3-1/2 mi deep after that....so im in the middle of the block really..

Ive had a guy ride a 4 wheeler by my corn field to look at the deer I was watching, and then cut doughnuts in the field. Then He came into the woods squirrel hunting and I said hey man, I hunt here to. HE said sorry and then asked me If I had seen anything. Then he set coon trpas on the swamp and would go down there, 4 wheeler and all to check it and drive past my stand every time. He is jsut as nice of a guy as youd ever want to meet, but I swear I have bad luck with him and hunting.
