what bug repellant do you use

I can smell the Thermacell too, but none of the three deer that were within 10 yards of me opening weekend knew I was there. Maybe it hasn't been around long enough for them to assoc the smell with danger
The bugs know not to come around though!

You may have a point....and to show you I'm not biased...lol...I'll take mine out this evening. It helps I have a good wind, though
These little skeeters here are pissing me off if nothign else. I'm not getting bitten.....but the ONLY poace they can bother me is in my eyes (I'm covered up everywhere else). They're finding my eyes![:@]

Mate you need to check out the thermacell site mate. You can smell the thing but the reason it doesnt spook deer is because the repellant in it is a "naturally occurring insecticide found in chrysanthemum flowers."
This is possibly why it works for hunters and is a very large breakthrough in fighting off black flies and skeeters!

I had 5 deer feeding down wind of me with my thermacell on this past monday. They could'nt have cared less. Now if they were only upwind of me and in range where I could have gotten a shot...
