I shower before every hunt! No questions ask! It's manditory ;)

I shower before every hunt. Sometimes i do laundry between hunts if I feel contaminated.

I always shower with scent killing soap, use scent killing deodorant and I spray down.I think it helps alot

I shower before every hunt if possible. If anything, it is a confidence booster for those long sits.

At deer camp I shower right before i go to bed after i've finished pounding my beer. I just get up and throw my scentlok in the dryer and then drown myself in scent killer before i start the walk to my stand. I see plenty of deer a lot of the time and have them under my tree a lot as well. I think if it makes you feel better, then go for it. if the wind ain't right where your stand is, to me that's what busts you. A smart wiley old buck that ain't chasing a doe will wind you if the wind ain't right whether you just showered or not. if he's chasing a doe you may get a shot even if your upwind of him. A friend of mine killed a monster buck in Alabama one year while standing at a tree smoking because he was downwind of the buck that walked up on him.
