I shower before every hunt actually...I don't know...I just feel more confident and comfortable knowing I'm scent free, and if a deer busts me, it will because I couldn't sit still or some other mannerism that screws me over...

Shower the night before, not to sleep in but rather to keep my pores closed so I don't get so cold.

i always do it gives me better scent control and it helps wake me up . Besides i just feel better after taking a shower

I'm not sure how you can shower the night before and believe it works the same as the day of the hunt.
You crawl back into the sheets that either have a few or more days of your scent on them or they smell like the detergent you use around the house.

Just another hint: Wash a couple of bath towels in scent free soap and store like you would your hunting clothes.
This way you are not showering in scent free soap and then drying off in a towel that smells like Downey or Tide

Oh yeah, I always shower before hunting using any of those hunter scent free soaps

No I do not. But I do use HS soap everyday during the Deer Season.
