So it was in your driveway and when you came home it was gone from the truck. I work in the criminal justice field and I suspect drugies who cruise neighborhoods looking for cheap scores went to your truck, checked the doors, they were open........JACKPOT. The pawnshops are the drop offs for drug users because they need money fast to get more drugs. All thieves should have their fingers cut off for each offense!
I guarantee thats what happened. My friend who is local law enforcement said that heroine is running crazy in this town so Im guessing it was that. Funny thing is we dont have but 2 pawn shops in the county and they were both notified the first day, and have had no bows turned in.

It makes me sick to know people steal from others & when I say that, I mean steal property that has significant value to someone. Price doesn't alwaysmatter, it'sthe personal value that it costs for someone. The bad thing is, this is something that price does matter....$1200 bow!?!? That's a terrible loss. Sorry to hear it.

Bastards...how can someone steal and feel goodabout themselves.

Someone said that comp covers stolen property. That is not the case. I don't want no one to be mislead, someone stoled my car about two years ago and took my bow that was in it. Found the car no bow. I found out who he was and needless to say I got my bow back and then some. I don't advocate taking the law into your own hands but sometimes it just happens. Wish you could have seen his face when he came around the back of the gas station.

I agree, but with a slight modification:

Thieves should have all their fingers cut off for the first offense.

"Back in the day", thieves on Navy ships were known to "fall up ladders".;)

I got home from work yesterday and the door to my apartment was sitting WIDE OPEN.. The little part that pops out in to the door frame didn't pop out... My door must have been open for 11 hours yesterday and nothing was missing. I had a $1200 computer sitting on my couch, about $4000 worth of guns, my bow which I have about $700 in, plus tons of other random stuff just laying around. I feel very fortunate, and I am glad that I live in South Dakota. Not that it couldn't happen in SD, but I guess it just usually doesnt.
