My max range is shrinking.

I'm capable of shooting further distances than most, but I'm starting to see the "light" it's not worth it.

I "can" shoot up to 60yds on my sight but, all the planets would have to align for me to take that shot. Right now, 30yds us MAX. Unless special circumstances.

Extend beyond my comfortable range ,no. Push me to the edge but within my abilities, yes.

I wouldn't shoot any farther than I've practiced and feel confident. This changes from shot to shot, situation to situation. In the circumstance you provided, I'd shoot out to 45 yards as that's how far I practice and feel confidentin that situation.

My maximum effective range is dependant on a number of variables, some related to the animal, some related to how I feel on a particular day.On a broadside relaxed animal when I am stable and calm I would extend my range by 3 to 5 yards, provided I verified the yardage with my range finder. This is under the circumstances Ryan described.

i doubt it my 30 pins is off by about 6 inchs. i might shoot out that far but i plan to keep it at 20 most of my sites are under 20 one about 8 yards.

this spring i plan to buy a new sight. I plan to buy a 5 pin. set at 20 30 40 50 60. i doubt i shoot 60 but i want the option.
