YOu know, There was a time when I felt like a camcorder was just something to get in the way, or I wouldn't use it etc etc.
Let me tell you, it has quickly become one of the most used pieces of equipment I have! I highly recommend to everyone to see if you an add one to your gear. It is just so neat to try to catch your own hunt on film or buddies goofing off, trailng deer like you see etc. Those memories are absolutely priceless.
I have just a simple Sony Handicam mini DVD camcorder and it takes fantastic video (not the greatest in low light but not horrible either) it is SUPER light , barely takes up any room, and combined with the simple Pine Ridge Pro bow camera arm I can film my own hunts as well as I would want to see them for a grand total of about $550 which included discs and an extra longer life battery.
The camera and battery itself brand new was only $369.
It's one of those items where looking back I WISH I would have bought years ago.
