2.66 here in Indiana, was 2.55 last Friday at some stations. The state sales tax does play a big factor in gas prices. the state is always looking for different places to grab money from businesses and consumers. Gas being the necessity for everyone, they play with it constantly to keep money in their pocket. Also remember, the VALUE of the American dollar has gotten stronger in the past couple of weeks, which drives down the price of oil per barrel.

when i bought my new truck it was 3.79 just down fromt he 4.99 crap. so i filled up 34 gallons i have used about 4 or 5 for hunting. If i had wait i would have saved around 25 bucks. I figure in a week or two it will be around 2.500 here it is 2.98 right now and should drop some more due to the lag from oil dropping.
