I just shot a heavy 10 with split brows this season (pope and young #2down...so early? : thread) I have always loved the clean look of a perfect typical, they look so majestical. but on the other hand my dream buck is a double drop tine king of the woods....so if i had the chance...ummm....i dont really know, ive shot a few nice clean symetricals so i think its time for a big nasty....something crazy!

I have no real preference on typical or nontypical, or number of points. My ultimate goal these daysis mass. I want big thick knarly bases that you can't quite get you hands around and carrying alot that mass out to the ends of the beams. This type of massmost definately goes hand-in-hand with a very mature deer which is also my new standard.

I prefer large, symetrical racks!

Nothing better than a perfect rack.

Symmetry all the way. Even symmetrical kickers.

Perfect rack would be a 20” inside spread main frame 10, with split brows, forward kickers from the base, double drops (but not those wavy thick kind), split G2’s or matching kickers from them.

My "perfect" buck is a big symmetrical main frame 10pt with tall brows and a 2" kicker or a 5-6" droptine or both. I am not a big fan of the narly racks either but I like a little bit of character. Symmetrical racks with tall brows are the most desirable attributes for me though.

We got pretty similar tastes.
