Were is the satisfied customers exit hole ???
Right where you'd expect it to be with a 10-12 yd shot on a deer from 23' up;)......low on the off-side.

I've still got the carcass in my 4-wheeler if you're REALLY interested.;)

Thanks, guys. This one spooked me a "little". First....I didn't see the arrow at the POI (see it hit the deer). Just being honest. I never saw it hit OR a hole appear. Second....I didn't see my arrow at the POI.....so it must have come out as she bolted and ran. Not quite a "Pass-thru", although the arrow did pass all the way through her (makes sense, .....huh?). Thirdly.....I saw or heard no crash. I felt a LOT better after I saw the arrow.....but I didn't want to take any chances. Like I said.....I backed out and she was STILL dead when I found her.;)

It was cool to see some deer, again......lol. I ended up seeing 7 does, altogether....and.....a Blackbelly Sheep. Still trying to figure out how to list that one in my journal.[8D]:D

Thanks, again, guys.

congrats nice doe . the freezer has got to be getting full now
Rhody -

I "think" there's ONE pound of sausage, upstairs....and about 4 pieces of cubed venison, downstairs (respective freezers). I took my two does from a couple weeks ago....along with Matt/PA's doe to the processor at the same time (less Matt's backstraps.....;)). I donated all of that meat to the family we try to help out. I've got a home for this gal's backstraps with some landowners (biggest backstraps I've ever seen on a doe[&:]) and the rest will probably get made into sausage. Iget antsy myself.....when I almost run out.;)

Jeff, you've arrowed more does than I've seen this season :) Congratulations!

Ya know Brett.....

That's not necessarily a "bad" thing. If you're hunting for a buck....or "bucks" in general.....seeing ladies isn't really a "good" thing. I've had to tell myself this a LOT, this year. I think these were the first deer I'd had in bw range in about the last 8-9 sits. It's also the first time I was LOOKING for a doe in that many sits.

Good luck to you as your season progresses!

Like virginiashadow said. Thats more than I have seen all season. Great job GMMAT!
But looking at the 10day forecast for my area it looks as though things are going to start picking up.

10 yard shot through the "soft spot" and the arrow didnt blow clear through and stick in the ground?? Interesting. I wonder why. I wonder what it would have done on a 35 or 40 yard shot? You may want to limit yourself to no further than a 15 or 20 yardmax range with that setup.

I'm at the "max" (for me) on the low end of the KE spectrum for my setup and mechanicals (and I'm still pushing 70FP/KE). I've had 3 kills this year......and three entrance and exit wounds. My furthest shot has been 23yds. My closest has been 8 yds. My furthest recovery has been 64yds.

I didn't take a photo of the exit wound, last night (I still can;))....but here's the other two.....

Now really.....are we gonna pick a time like this to pick apart my setup?

And...for the record...I have NO INTEREST in finding out what my setup produces on 35-40 yd shots. I don't take them.

See all that grey hair in the Hero pic? He's only pulling 60 lbs. :D[8D]

Congrats Jeff, Very nice doe. Ive killed two now an donated them both, one to hunters for the hungry and one to my go-to family thats takes about every deer I can give them. But I must say, Im getting low myself, I believe Im gonna hold out for a bigger boddied deer now and put her in my freezer.:)

But this "Buck hunting" has me intrigued... Im hunting where Ive seen them cross but it seems the little ones are using it now. But just monday when I killed my first one, on my way to pick her up, I spotted 4 deer in the field, one "monster" that I have no trail cam pic of, Im gonna take a 200+ yrd at dark scoring guess at 140's. He was with either 3 does or really small bucks, they ran into the woodlot That I just killed my fawn doe from thursday

I have an awesome place That I think could possibly be a good place for bucks, but i would have to get another stand and put it in a pine. And then be very carefull to how I approach this stand.
