Yep, I said you might want to stongly consider not hunting in the AM....didn't say ya can't kill them in the AM. Every location has its differences..lots of intangibles. Still, if you're jumping deer going in (AM)your sightings are gonna die off quick as they get educated (my case, deer are usually bedded right smack in the acorn flats). I'm speaking from my own experiences, for what that is worth. More than that though....active acorns and good sign are largely short-term - they are awesome to find, but they will go cold fast as the deer, tree rats, and others consume the nuts. Anyway I'd rather push my luck on active sign...and change as it situation dictates.....vice waiting a week or so when everything could go cold as fast as you throw a light switch.
