I have been seing a nice 8 pointer in the past week that I saw last year, but the problem is he doesn't walk accross the field till just before dark. I know where he beds and I am not allowed to hunt it as a matter of fact no one is which is a plus. Any ideas of how to coax him out before the rut.

Some people say a snort wheeze, so he will think there is another buck on his turf wanting to spar. Try some doeandbuck calling, maybe ever some rattling. Good luck.
