07 and love it. It's only drawback is it's a whole lot heavier than my Darton was.

I bought my son a Guardian, last year ('08 model). It's a great shooter.....and he and I have no complaints with it, so far.

You'll love the bow. I agree it's a "tad" heavier than some other Bowtech models......but Mitch is 16....and he's never had an issue with it.

Good luck!

I didn't like the draw cycle, but that was about it. I wouldn't worry too much about it since draw cycle is pretty subjective to the shooter and there are plenty of guys that do like it. I'm sure you'll be happy with the bow.

if weight is the biggest concern, you'll love it....Weight is blown out of proportion with bows IMO, we are talking about mere ounces here.

TEmbry.....I concur, wholeheartedly about the weight. I actually think a little extra weight on a hunting bow is a good thing.;)

As for the draw cycle......I agree, again. My son is 16 and shoots his at 65#'s.

It's funny when you think about it. Lets say the bow is .3 lbs heavier than a different model, that sounds like a lot in bow weight. Well, that is equivalent to about 4.8 ounces.....A standard Ipod weighs 4.9 ounces....The difference in weight is about the same as holding up an ipod.

I thought bowhunters were big tough guys?!?[X(]:D[8D]
