That wasn't the question asked.
I would shoot any big buck ,because it is a challenge,it is difficult and it thats knowledge that most never achieve. Yes there are idiots out there that blunder into mega bucks every year yet the ability to do on a regular basis is something not many can achieve.
To kill a fawn be it brown, white or anything in between is not the challenge thatdrives me hunt.
If killing fawns make you jump a squeal like a little girl with a brand new easy bake oven ,kill all you can.
It just doesn't do it for me.

I see no point in killing something that so few ever get to see.

Pffft! Fawn, doe, button buck, whatever. I've never seen one before and if one makes the mistake of stepping in front of me the only way anyone will see that one again is if they visit my trophy room.
BTW, Easy Bake Ovens are cool.

She walks! I am in the minority here but I believe certain creatures are unique enough that they should just be appreciated and not taken. Some times decisions are not necessarily logical, they are just what's right for the individual.
I let a bedded doe go a number of years ago that I walked up on,she showed no sign of fear,I got to within 7 or 8 yards of her and she never stood, just kept chewing her cud,and she showed no sign of injury.I was rifle hunting with a doe tag in my pocket and it was late season. She was obviously quite tame and I couldn't bring myself to kill her.
