Yeah, it was a great night in reality.

Like Ben said, nothing bled but it was a very worthy sit.

First off all, forgive me, when I sprayed down in the stand, I got some Scent Killer on the lens of the video camera!

Here's a couple pictures and video and then more commentary at the bottom.

Glancing toward the fields.

He was saying something but I don't remember now. [8D]

And as the night left us.

Total we saw a dozen deer and more important, a piebald that neither of us knew was there. It gives Ben a new goal and something to anticipate seeing and possibly getting a shot! ! !

Very cool sit!

Nice video. I like it all put together. I look forward to more. I hope to see more of that piebald as well. I have a blast doing the two man video thing. I knew I would, so when Rob said that he was up for it, I went and double hung all of my spots this year. My wife does not need to know how much I spent on stands, but I promise ya this, we will get some more cool footage before this thing is over. Thanks for the great night afield Rob.

Awesome photos, guys. I'll wait to watch the video tomorrow at work (my internet is being goofy). Sounds like you had a great night. Sure was a great night to be on the stand in NC PA wasn't it?

Matt, it was a fantastic night to be in the stand. The deer were moving early and we had deer in sight almost continuous all evening, just not close enough.

It was too dark to get the piebald on video however, she stood out like a sore thumb in the beans.

She sure did. We tried to disclaim it at first as it was dark, but when the regular doe came and stood next to her it was clear what she was. That was the first time I had seen a piebald since my childhood, and definately the first time that I saw one when I had a bow hanging next to me.
