I really like the rocky buckstalkers myself, I have had them for a few years now with no problems. I recommend the zipper sides makes it very easy to take on or off. Also I agree look in sportsmans guide for good deals on boots, GOOD LUCK!!

One area you should NEVER skimp on is footwear, your feet, ankles and back will thank you for it.

Go to www.gandermountain.com and look under footwear/rubber boots at the Itasca Swampwalkers, they range from 39.00 to 99.00 I've had a pair for two years now and am very satisfied and not broke in the deal. Camo to toe and scent controll, and non-insulated !!!

Lacrosse, the Alpha Burleys are second to none
i must agree these are the best boots ive ever had.... they have enough insulation for those cool days but not enough so that your comfortable in the stand

LaCrosse is the way to go. I paid $79 for mine @ Sportsman's Warehouse. Little insulation, but go up 3/4 ways to my knees so when I do have to cross a creek, I can and not have swamp foot by the end of the hunt.
