Default Cleaning a Safety Harness?

I have a Summit Harness (the one that came with my Viper) and I used it to hang stands in the summer. It has a noticeable sweaty odor. I have sprayed it with Scent Killer and it still stinks. I want to get it clean or it has got to go. Any suggestions? Anyone ever wash a harness?

Diesel, will it affect the strength of the harness to use soap and water on it? Probably a dumb question, but it is my neck we are talking about here.[8D]

I just throw mine in the washer from time to time with my other hunting clothes. Never been a problem and it's easy.

Nota very good idea...tags say not to and it could possibly damage the buckles or dryer in cycle. Washing it in a tub with the scent free detergent like Andy said takes only minutes really...Its what I do as well and works just fine.
