Unless your 65 years old or older , you would need a verified physicians statement that says your unable to pull back a certain poundage. I believe it' s 35lbs.

Go to your local DNR station and ask them for a crossbow application. It explains everything you have to do. It goes by types and percent of disability. Check on Wisconsin' s DNR website at www.dnr.state.wi.us. Maybe they can answer your question better?
