I was able to make it out yesterday morning for the Indiana season opener. I haven't missed an opening morning in 10 years and hope to keep the streak alive. The morning was a little slow but around 8:30 I had three does come inand feed in the food plot I planted on an old logging trail. The the mature doe presented a broadside shot at 10 yards. She went 40 yards and dropped. Another Rage success to story to add to the list. This was also the first deer I have ever taken on opening morning. I hope it is a sign of great things to come for the rest of the season.

Congrats on the doe. Is Indiana's opener always October 1? That's odd since it's not a Saturday or Monday when most seasons start.

yes Indiana always opens bow season on Oct 1 no matter what day of the week it falls on. Weird I know just the way it has always been sinceI can remember.
