RE: Early, All or Rut Season Bowhunting???
I wait all year for bow season to start, I just cant get enough.[8D] My season stars in mid September, and runs until December 31st. I hunt hard September, October, and November, but when December rolls around, it seems like I just have too much going on to get out as much as I would like.

Allseason long. It's hard to give up fly fishing in the fall, but bow season is short (3 months). I can fly fish the rest of the year. I take a break during gun season to get my steelhead fix.

You can't get em if you're not out there. Even during the October "lull" I'm out there. Coincidentally I've shot most of my bucks during the "lull."

I picked all season although I try to do most of my hunting before gun season starts , I just rather not be out on public land when all those crazy yahoos shoot at anything that moves.

I hunt as much of the archery season as I can. This year, it looks like I'll be hunting pretty much whenever I please due to my present work (or lack there of) situation. This means I'll be hunting the ENTIRE rut! Lot's of all day sits.I am pumped!!

I hunt all season, but tend to focus my energy the most during the rut. I hunt when I can early and late, but will make sacrifices then to ensure I have maximum time from mid Nov through early Dec.

Hunt only a little in early season because the bowfishing is too good to give up,then a lot in the rut, and a lot in late season...all the way until the end. Usually do a late winter hog hunt to get thru till bowfishing starts up again.
