Default Early season success.....pic

My cousin and hunting buddy Monty, invited me out to Maryland to do a little early season bowhunting. First night out I lucked into this nice doe. She came in to my stand right at dark and I was lucky enough to make 5 yard shot right through the top of her back. I was a little concerned about the hit, because I didn't get a pass through. So, we waited about an hour and came back with some flashlights to find her exactly in the last place I saw her. The shot angled forward and clipped a lung and demolished her heart. We really had agood time....I hadtwo other shots but couldn't connect on either. My brother in law came out as well and was able to take a small doe the last evening we hunted. All in all I was really pleased with the hunt.....we had lots of rain, but were able to hunt some too. I think my stuff is still wet LOL.

Here's the pic...
