Thanksgiving day. Our rut is always the last half of November and a little bit into December so regardless of the exact date of Thanksgiving it always falls into the rut.

I have taken quite a few deer on this day, but more importantly, I have memories of some really good chases and sightings of "what could of been but just never came together."

I killed my first twoarchery bucks on Halloween, missed one on Halloween and as I posted last year onHalloween when I got homeI saw my biggestbuck to date that day. Spooky

Nov 11 - 14 tend to be the best days for moving bucks in my area.
