My favorite date in the woods was similar to quik's but her name was Heather!My favorite dates to be in the woods are Oct. 28- Nov. 11 with the top dates being Nov. 4-9.

Oct 1- seems to be the most exciting
Mid/ late November- prefferably wet cold and overcast
Christmas Eve morning
Feb 15, and any day in between!

Mine is Thankgiving day. Opening day is a close second, with every other day in the season tied for third.

November 25th.

I like Novemeber 4th. Seems to be the time I see the best buck activity in my area.

any cold cold clear morning in october or november where you can here the deer coming from 400 yds away

Halloween. Dont know what it is about that day, but they places i hunt seem to go crazy on Halloween night every year. I have shot or one of my friends has shot nice bucks almost every year on Halloween evening.

That would be anywhere between October 25th to November 11th
