wow thats awesome... we have a few out here, but not many. i've never met any in the woods. i'd probably crap my pants if i ever saw one that close.

I actually wasn't scared of it because it wasn't acting agressive toward us. My partner had an arrow on the string, though, just in case. My bow was on the ground while I was taking pictures. It definitely could have been on me before I could get my bow ready but I was counting on it setting its back feet before it pounced and it never did. This is my first Mt. lion sighting in the woods and I have been sneaking around Colorado with a bow since 1986.

I tell you what, hearing the stories that I have about those things, if i ever seen one of those in my woods it would completly change the way i look at being in the woods after dark and staying at attention. It would scare the holy heck out of me thats for sure.
