Okay, I'm going to try one more time to post this picture of the pups. They look a lot better after some food, water, a bath and some medicine.

Nice shot, & those pups might just turn out to be the most loyal friends you've ever made.

Well, just leaving them there would have meant slow, certain death. Unless, of course, the coyotes found them. Either way, I couldn't leave them to either of those fates. Besides, theone on the leftkind of impressed me when he was trying to tear the ear off that doe while I was trying to field dress it. He was going after that deer full force.... mouthful of ear, shaking his head side to side and growling like a dog playing tug of war.

What kind are they? They look very friendly. I don't know if ya'll remember the dog I brought home from the middle of no where a few years ago. She's alive and well at a friend of my wife's.

Your doing the right thing Chief.

Oh, I know I am, Rob. From the looks of them, the brown one is German Shepherd with something else. Lab maybe because of the webbed feet. The other one looks like a combination of a multitude of breeds. A true Tennessee mutt. They sure are good little guys, though. Someone had to have dumped them... either that or they're little dog geniuses. They watched our dogs use the dog door to go outside to do their business, and they follow suit. No house breaking required!

They stay right at my feet when I'm walking, and I can barely get from point A to point B without tripping. My wife says it's because I'm their "hero".[8D]
