Awful, I have a daughter that age. I can't even imagine. All the prayers I can send are on the way.

You and your family are in my prayers. As previously stated ,there is nothing worse than seeing a child suffer. Hope everthing turns out ok.

Update......I was at the hospital most of the day today. My nephew is in what the doctor is labeling "critically stable" meaning he is as stable as can be but very, very critical. He is suffering from ARDS or (acute respiratory distress syndrome). He is hooked up to an oscillator which is breathing for him. He is being kept in a medically induced coma and may be kept in this state for weeks. The doctor lists his chances at around 60/40 on making it. On a scale of 1-10 the inflammation and damage to his lungs is a 10. They seem to have all his stats where they need to be for now but have to keep an eye out for kidney/liver problems, infection, pneumonia. Basically they are hoping with the drugs and breathing help, his lungs will start to heal on there own. We have everyone we know praying for him. Your thoughts and prayers mean the world guys, and I feel fortunate to have such a good groupof people keeping him in there thoughts and prayers. Thank you all.....
